Customising Characters in Soul Calibur 4

I love it when video games allow you to totally customise your character. The first MMO I played, City of Heroes, gave you a massive range of choices for your avatar’s appearance, allowing you to feel unique in the world you were going to adventure in. Of course, a lot of people just made themselves look like Batman or Wolverine, which is something the game creators would frown upon due to IP reasons. The upcoming Spore game that I’ve blogged about before has customising of creatures (they aren’t quite avatars as there are more than one and you play “God”) as a major part of its gameplay. The game Soul Calibur 4 also allows you to customise characters, and there is a wealth of charcaters out there that have been made to look like famous characters, from the awesome (Nightwing) to the creepy (Mario.)
