Google Street View stop motion animation short made as a personal project by director Tom Jenkins.

Story: A lonely desk toy longs for escape from the dark confines of the office, so he takes a cross country road trip to the Pacific Coast in the only way he can – using a toy car and Google Maps Street View.

All screen imagery was animated – there are no screen replacements.

Sixth in an increasing series of comic book (AND movies now) characters as Tiny Tower bitizens. Interesting sidenote: most characters have an “iconic” image, except for Leia, who has two – white robe, and Slave outfit. (I didn’t go for the iconic white robed Jedi Luke because his flightsuit outfit was more interesting to draw).

Have you been obsessed with NimbleBit’s latest iPhone game Tiny Tower as much as I am? And wouldn’t it be nice to have one of those cute little characters as an avatar for a forum or a social network? After reading Brandontreb’s inspiring Bitizen Tutorial [link] I thought it would be nice if everyone could simply customize his personal Bitizen with just a few clicks, which was the reason I decided to create this template.
