Which Tab is active – “Most Viewed” or “Most Emailed”?

When there’s only 2 tabs, a strong visual cue is required to ensure that it’s obvious to people which tab is active and which is inactive.

In the above case, removing the border underneath the active tab and reserving the bold font weight for the active tab would help indicate which was the active one.

  1. Definitely see the point that the border under the active tab should be removed. is it not obvious that ‘most viewed’ is the one active? unless of course it isn’t that one…

  2. Actually, Most Emailed is the active one, though if I didn’t know I’d have thought the same as you… see here for an example http://short.ie/cnntabs
