So I bought myself an 8″ touchscreen monitor for a bit of fun – it’s hooked up to the right of my 24″ iMac. But what I’ve found is that with the combination of shareware app DragThing I can have a very effective, almost iPhone-like app launcher. Here’s a (massive filesize) looksee – all the clicks are by touch, basically what I’ve done is make a series of tabs to group my shortcuts with Dragthing.

The middle bar uses Dockables to make a series of shortcuts to system functions like shutdown etc.
