Courtesy of a tweet by Jennifer Newman (awesome background by the way), is the news that the disturbing and funny Garfield Minus Garfield is to be made into a book. The idea is very simple and very genius – by removing Garfield from the comic strips we see Jon Arbuckle as some sort of lonely deranged mentalist. I used to be a huge Garfield fan when I was a kid – I had about 10 garfield teddies, lots of books, mugs, toys etc. Then I discovered boobies and forgot about Garfield. Garfield minus Garfield was created by Dan Walsh, who has a very cool blog.
