Mac Ads with Mitchell and Webb
The guys from Peep Show are doing the “I’m a Mac” ads for the UK & Ireland. (Watch the Video)
So that means that… “Mark’sPC’s the sensible one, a professional brogue-wearer with a slightly disconcerting interest in World War Two. JeremyMac is the loose cannon, a lazy waster with dodgy friends who dreams of becoming a musician but can never get his act together (or up in the morning).”

Yeah I noticed these the other day. Tbh I’m not that impressed. They are carbon-copies of the US versions, just done with English accents. From the lines, to the movements of the actors etc. etc.
It’s a shame they didn’t allow for different styles/personas to show through. But if you watch a US version of one and then the UK version - they are practically identical… which raises the question - why do a UK version at all?
