More shenanigans
I must be doing something right! Another Irishstu “inspired” site has appeared - http://www.epracticemarketing.com/
Now, I don’t want to come across as pedantic - everyone gets inspired by everyone else, and I’m a total magpie when I see some neat ideas on the web. But what gets on my nerves is when your work is listed wholesale - for example when I view the source of this page I found the following:
<div id="nav">
<div id="homepanel">
<div class="panel">
<a href="webDesign.html" id="pan01" class="panelTab">Design Services -
Web & graphic design, print, logos and more...</a>
<a href="webDesign.html" class="panelPic"><img src="images/webDesignNav.jpg" alt="Website Design" /></a>
<div class="panelEnd"></div>
</div>
Now, how does that happen?

I imagine this must be starting to get very irritating. I love the way they have lifted your work and then had the cheek to add a copyright notice at the bottom of their site.

thats funny…cause i was just stopping by to steal some code.
surfing for ideas is fine, i do it, you do it…surfing helps inspire ideas. but blatanly stealing the code…i mean come on people. pure lazy stupidity.
now, if you dont mind…im gonna go ahead and view source to steal this ‘leave a comment’ code…

I’m sure it doesn’t bother you that much as their website is damn ugly… and sure nobody would think of your great designed and layoutet website.
But stealing code is a no-go… especially as many website-tricks are published quite thoroughly in good books like Zeldman’s, etc. and can be rebuilt quite easily. Especially for someone “Providing professional websites”… ;-)
