About Mag-reen SA logo

Mag-reen SA is a Belgian property development. (SA is the Belgian equivalent of LTD.). The brief was to create a logo design that reflect the location of the development.

The logo is a simple combination of image and manipulated text, reflecting the location of the development in a tree-lined square in Brussels. The font used was ITC New Baskerville, which has an elegant mix of thick and thin lines.

Image number 4 is of an alternate (I hate the word "rejected") idea, of a tree in a red square. I like the brush-stroke effect of this one, along with the shadow of the tree, which seems to bring the logo to life.
